Self-Pay & Pricing Details
Christian Heights Emergency Room provides self-pay options for patients without eligible insurance coverage. Because emergency care varies by patient, the total cost of a visit depends on the evaluation, testing, imaging, treatment, medications, and other services needed.
Understanding Your Costs
Emergency care cannot always be priced in advance because the services required are based on your medical needs. Final charges may include facility services, physician care, diagnostic testing, procedures, medications, and supplies.
Pricing Information
Patients may be eligible for self-pay pricing or other payment options. For current pricing information, estimates, or questions about payment arrangements, please contact our billing team.

Facility Fees
As a freestanding emergency medical care facility, Christian Heights Emergency Room may charge a facility fee in addition to charges for medical services, testing, imaging, medications, supplies, and physician care. Texas law requires freestanding emergency facilities to disclose that their rates may be comparable to a hospital emergency room and that a facility fee may apply.
Self-Pay & Pricing Information
Patients who do not have eligible insurance coverage may receive care on a self-pay basis. Actual charges depend on the evaluation, testing, imaging, treatment, medications, and other services required during the visit.
